Adult Start Sailing

The vast majority of people who learn to sail do so via one of the RYA courses at a recognised training centre.  RYA courses are the Gold standard and are valid in many counties.  You can find out more detail about these courses at the RYA website.   Llandegfedd Sailing Club do not offer adult beginner courses but can recommend courses run by Welsh Water Adventures; details at Llandegfedd Watersports.  

For sailors with some experience or skills of Level 2 standard the club offers support via it's Meet a Mentor scheme.  Members are given personalised support to help them gain confidence and become independent sailors.
