Discover Sailing at Llandegfedd Sailing Club

Sailing is a life skill that provides fun and rewarding outdoor activity from ages 8 to 80s. Our sport’s governing body, the RYA, has created this short video. (link to Why not try sailing? page) So why not give it a go at one of the club’s taster sessions?

Pottering about in a boat for a few hours on a summer’s day is fun but there is much more to sailing than this: Llandegfedd Sailing Club is a social community with a calendar of structured activities across the water sports season (usually March to November). The club welcomes members of all abilities, and offers a proven pathway from novice to expert, with an adult training program and expert help to nurture our members’ skills and encourage their ability to sail safely and confidently even in more challenging conditions.

Racing for all ages

Llandegfedd Sailing Club has a long and successful record for dinghy racing. Our members have included National and World Champion sailors, and our competitive racing series are well attended throughout the season. See the Racing pages on how to get started, or how to join in if you have raced before.

Now what do I do?

If you would like to do an adult beginner’s course then please contact Llandegfedd Watersports directly.

For club Adult improver help see Mentor  page.  If you have other questions about how the club can help please contact us using this form.  We are all volunteers but will try to respond quickly.  Thank you.
