DISCOVER SAILING at Llandegfedd Sailing Club

Sailing is a life skill that provides fun activity from 8 to 80. There is a short video here that might give you some reasons to have a go.

Pottering about in a sailing boat on the water can be quite fun but after a while you find that you need some purpose and structure in order to develop and be able to sail safely in more testing conditions.

Llandegfedd Sailing Club has members qualified to share their skills informally or through the structure of an RYA Training Course.  Sitting alongside Llandegfedd Activities (www.llandegfedd.co.uk)  we are ideally positioned to provide specialist Junior training and support Adult improvers

Racing for all ages

Llandegfedd Sailing Club has a long and successful record for dinghy racing. We have had World Champion sailors in more than one class of boat, and have well run and competitive racing throughout the season. See the Racing pages on how to get started, or how to join in straight away if you have raced before. 

ADULT & YOUTHS

The club welcomes members of all abilities.  We don't currently provide beginner training for adults or older children but our partners Llandegfedd Watersports run training courses throughout the season.  Please contact them directly

On completion those wishing to take the next steps are encouraged to join our Mentoring programme Meet a Mentor.  You can join advanced training courses with the club or again experience by crewing for club members.
